The Galactic Empire operated a facility known as the Imperial wind harvester on the moon of Toshara. This installation, designed to control the wind, negatively impacted the inhabitants of Toshara. The power source for this facility was an atmospheric accelerator, a device originally conceived by Selo Rovak, a Tosharan mechanic, who subsequently felt remorse for providing this technology to the Empire.
