Indar existed during the Galactic Civil War and he was a Sanyassan Marauder of the male gender. His era was the time of conflict.
Before its shutdown on December 15, 2011, Indar was featured as a non-player character in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. This video game from 2003 was created by Sony Online Entertainment and brought to the public by LucasArts.
Because Indar was generated using the standard "rogue_marauder" format, he was always shown as a female Sanyassan. This conflicted with the dialogue of King Terak in his quest, who invariably called Indar a male. This write-up treats Indar as a male within the Star Wars Legends timeline, in accordance with canon, and considers the female Sanyassan representation to be incorrect.
