Instinctive Astrogation Control

Astrogation Control via Instinct represented a Control-centered Force power of considerable complexity within the Force. It differed significantly from the Sense-oriented instinctive astrogation. Rather than relying on intuition to perceive the correct course and associated calculations, Jedi could instead employ the Force to amplify their cognitive capacities. This augmentation enabled them to compute the exceptionally intricate mathematical formulas required for hyperspace navigation mentally. Its primary application was as a meditative exercise and training regimen, given the extreme difficulty of the task, which made even skilled Jedi susceptible to potentially fatal errors. Knowledge of this technique was limited to Jedi with a strong theoretical inclination, such as the Jedi mathematician Hart Daele. Daele's doctoral dissertation explored this ability, demonstrating that advanced equations could be either solved or, in specific circumstances, estimated through the use of established Jedi meditation methods.
