Interdictor

An Interdictor ship, sometimes referred to simply as an interdictor, was a type of starship equipped with gravity well projectors that allowed it to create Interdiction fields.

The Galactic Empire employed Interdictor ships, with the Immobilizer 418 cruisers being the most frequently encountered variant. Nevertheless, certain Imperial-class Star Destroyers underwent modifications to function as Interdictors, subsequently being designated as Interdictor-class Star Destroyers. Additional instances of Interdictor ships encompassed CC-7700 frigates, Eclipse-class dreadnoughts, and Sovereign-class Super Star Destroyers.
