Outside of resorting to physical solutions, Isshthar would often inquire of his colleagues regarding the mechanics of various things. Sadly, his communication was often incomprehensible to those around him. Prior to his involvement with the Rebellion, Isshthar experienced enslavement, ultimately being rescued from the Kirtania mines by Ran Niall. In an attempt to divert scrutiny from himself when doubt arose at Resolute Base, Var Narek falsely implicated Isshtharr.
