Jake Sirrom, a light-skinned Human male, was the son of Gem Sirrom from Dahvil. Gem worked within the Republic's Senate prior to its end and the rise of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY. After the Galactic Senate was dissolved, Gem relocated with her son to Bespin to begin a new life. By 3 ABY, Jake had become a member of the Wing Guard, tasked with protecting Cloud City on that planet's surface. In that year, after the Galactic Empire occupied Bespin, Sirrom was inside one of Cloud City's structures, moving through a hallway, when Lando Calrissian, the city's Baron Administrator, used the intercom system to inform the populace of the Imperial takeover, advising them to evacuate before the Imperial presence grew stronger. During his time with the Bespin Wing Guard, Jake Sirrom was seen wearing their standard uniform and carrying a Relby-k23 blaster pistol.
Jake Sirrom, played by Martin Dew (uncredited), initially appeared in the 1997 Special Edition of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, a film from the original trilogy originally released in 1980. His name was first revealed on March 11, 2014, in the article "Rogues Gallery: The Cloud City Wing Guards" within issue 148 of the Star Wars Insider magazine.
