Jalus Nebl, a male Sullustan, made his living as a freighter pilot. He was employed by the Besadii Hutts on Ylesia, piloting shipments of spice concurrently with Han Solo.
Upon Han's arrival on Ylesia, he inquired of Jalus why the Sullustan was unable to pilot. Jalus explained that he suffered from an allergy to the spice he was contracted to transport. After Han recovered enough to leave the planet, he and Jalus delivered a message and present to Jiliac on Nal Hutta. The Sullustan subsequently rescued Han, Bria Tharen, and Muuurgh from capture by the CR90 corvette Helot's Shackle. He accomplished this by piloting the Ylesian Dream, the operation's freighter, through the corvette's tractor beam. Following his escape from Ylesia and his enlistment with the Alliance to Restore the Republic, he rechristened the ship Dream of Freedom. He perished during the Battle of Ylesia, when he and three other Rebel landing craft were ambushed and destroyed by the newly-installed turbolaser in Colony One.
