Jatenne, a Moorjhoni female, resided on the planet of Moorjhone alongside her grandfather, Trisjon. During the year 20 BBY, she and Trisjon hurried to observe the newly landed cloaked individuals, Maul and Savage Opress, as they thought one of them might fulfill the prediction of the Day of Three Suns. Subsequent to Maul's injury within Ja'Boag's mining operation, he collapsed in the desert, where Jatenne's community discovered him. They then informed Maul of their conviction that he was the "Demon in the Light" as foretold by Trisjon. Following Maul's murder of Trisjon, he exploited Jatenne's sorrow to manipulate her into fighting against Ja'Boag's military forces. As the intense heat of the three suns of Moorjhone intensified, Jatenne came to the understanding that the prophecy's "Demon in the Light" was actually Jedi Master Judd, rather than Maul, and she found safety within the mine.
