Jawiin Danod, an Ithorian male, existed during the Galactic Civil War era. Following the Battle of Yavin at some point, Danod found himself on Dathomir when an incident occurred at the Imperial Research and Prison Facility. He became infected with the Blackwing virus, transforming into an undead being. The virus controlled his animated corpse, which roamed the Quarantine Zone until a spacer destroyed it.
Within the 2003 Star Wars Galaxies video game, which was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts before it shut down on December 15, 2011, Jawiin Danod was featured as a non-player character. With the release of "Game Update 14" on October 12, 2009, Jawiin Danod was incorporated into the game. He functioned as one of the Undead boss enemies within the Quarantine Zone that players were required to eliminate in order to fulfill a collection.
