Jaybo Hood was a young male of the Human species. He resided on the planet Iego during the era known as the Clone Wars.

Born in 32 BBY, Jaybo Hood, a Human male, was among those stranded on Iego. Following the Separatists' departure from Iego in 22 BBY, Jaybo took control of the battle droids that remained. He repurposed them to fulfill his needs. He used a macro protocol to simultaneously erase their original programming. When General Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Anakin Skywalker arrived, seeking an ingredient for the Blue Shadow Virus antidote, Skywalker impulsively destroyed eighteen of the defenseless droids.
Hood acted as their guide, showing them the planet and its inhabitants. He developed an affection for the two Jedi during their visit. Jaybo spoke to the Jedi about "Drol," referring to him as the "god" of Iego, and even mentioned Taquito, his friend who died trying to leave the planet. Skywalker and Kenobi tried to depart, but were halted by a laser field that the Separatists had set up to prevent anyone from leaving. Jaybo provided them with several of his captured vulture droids to assist them in escaping the planet and destroying the field. Consequently, Hood indirectly aided in freeing all the stranded inhabitants of Iego, giving them the freedom to leave whenever they desired.
Shortly after, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi came back to Iego. Jaybo informed them of a strange occurrence in the planet's orbit. Upon investigation, they discovered it was the assassin droid HELIOS-3D, who was fleeing after successfully carrying out the Senate hostage crisis.
Once detected, 3D made his escape, flying away from the planet.
The voice of Jaybo Hood was provided by David Kaufman in the The Clone Wars television series, specifically in the Season One episode called "Mystery of a Thousand Moons."
