Plot summary

Qui-Gon Jinn struggles to maintain his focus on his duties. Following the loss of his one true love, he is having difficulty continuing his path as a Jedi Knight. He and his apprentice, Obi-Wan, are dispatched to a dangerous planet with the mission of safeguarding the sole witness prepared to testify against a corrupt criminal organization, but he finds it difficult to concentrate. However, when the witness faces a sudden assault and the crime family takes steps to guarantee their continued existence, Qui-Gon is compelled to maintain order...and confront both external attackers and internal struggles. A Master's role involves assisting their Padawan in resisting the allure of the Dark Side, but can Obi-Wan reverse the roles, restraining a man known for his defiance who poses a threat to himself and those around him, as well as to his intended target?
