Jude Watson is a writer whose work focuses on the prequel era within the Star Wars universe. Watson's association with LucasBooks began when a former editor chose her to author Star Wars Journal: Captive to Evil, presented from the perspective of Princess Leia Organa. Following that, Watson went on to write the Star Wars: Jedi Apprentice series, in addition to journals centered on Queen Amidala and Darth Maul.
Furthermore, she is the author of the Jedi Quest series, which follows Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan Anakin Skywalker. Watson also penned Star Wars: The Last of the Jedi series, which centers on Ferus Olin in the aftermath of the Great Jedi Purge.
