At Deneba, many Jedi couriers arrive for a Jedi convocation. Jedi courier signified the general name for a Jedi's individual mode of transportation. In earlier eras, Jedi selected their own couriers from a variety of available types; after the Exar Kun War, Vanya-class Jedi Couriers were introduced particularly for this function.
After the Battle of Ruusan, the employment of Jedi couriers diminished, since Jedi abandoned individual belongings and mostly depended on spacecraft borrowed from the Galactic Senate.
