Jedi enclave (Mustafar)

Mustafar was the location of several Jedi temples throughout the era of the Galactic Republic.

History

Within these establishments, Jedi Master Chu-Gon Dar, a being with incredible skill in Physical Force, instructed pupils. He was the creator of a Force-sensitive item called the Chu-Gon Dar cube, an artifact capable of directing and shaping the Force to transform the characteristics of any physical matter positioned within it.

With the resurgence of the Sith, a major battle occurring on the planet pulled a neighboring gas giant nearer to the planet itself, which initiated a powerful gravitational attack on the world's landscape. The environment was devastated by enormous fiery mountains, which compelled the Jedi to escape the world, thus abandoning all understanding of Chu-Gon's cube. Around c.1000 BBY, the Enclave's remains were rediscovered, and they subsequently served as the headquarters for the Force-based group referred to as the Blackguard.

Behind the scenes

The Jedi Enclave was featured in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a large-scale online multiplayer role-playing game created by Sony and released by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011.
