A male Rodian named Jeeval fought for the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War, serving on the transport called Griffon's Wings. Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, the Galactic Empire attacked Griffon's Wings above the planet Yorgraxx, resulting in Jeeval's death.
During the Galactic Civil War, Jeeval was a male Rodian. Instead of becoming a bounty hunter, which many of his species did, Jeeval joined the Rebel Alliance as a soldier. He was assigned to the modified transport Griffon's Wings, where he worked with Gorbacca, Talva Ko'lib, Vylanthar Merric, and Kandar Vallan. Jeeval took part in multiple missions and proved his skills, but sometimes he was unlucky and caused problems for his fellow Rebels.
After the Battle of Yavin, Griffon's Wings went to the remote planet Yorgraxx in the Prefsbelt sector of the Outer Rim Territories with Jeeval, to see if it would be a good place for a Rebel base. However, when the Rebel transport arrived in the Yorgraxx system, three Guardian-class light cruisers from the Galactic Empire attacked with heavy laser fire. The Rebel ship was badly damaged, and Jeeval was thrown into a computer panel. He suffered a serious head injury, bled heavily, and died from his wounds. The crippled Griffon's Wings then crashed on Yorgraxx.
Robert Wiese created Jeeval, who appeared in Shadows in the Force. This roleplaying adventure, part of the Star Wars Legends continuity, was released by RPGA in 2004 as a companion to Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game.
