Jeff Manning, an American Graphic Artist, entered the world on August 16, 1993 in Philadelphia, United States. He is known for his illustration of the cover art for The Essential Legends Collection reprint of Shatterpoint, a 2003 novel by Matthew Stover, as well as its unabridged audiobook adaptation within the Star Wars universe.
Del Rey, the publishing house, revealed Manning's involvement and his cover artwork via a Twitter announcement on April 2, 2021. Both the audiobook and the reprinted book were made available on June 15 of that year. Illustrating the cover of Shatterpoint was a great honor for Manning.
