The Jhanjaari River existed on the Core World of Chandrila. Originating in Chandrila's Shashwaat Mountains, this river traveled to Lake Sah'ot, ultimately reaching the sea; it served as a boundary, dividing the western part of Hanna City, the planet's capital, from the Hanna Wild Game Reserve, a hunting area situated close to the capital city.
This river, the Jhanjaari River, appeared visually in Coruscant and the Core Worlds, a Star Wars Roleplaying Game resource released in 2003 by Wizards of the Coast. Its designation as the Jhanjaari River was established later, in the 2015 Star Wars Roleplaying supplement Strongholds of Resistance, which was released by Fantasy Flight Games.
