The Jidlor system, situated within the Jidlor Marches region of the Mid Rim, served as the native system for the sentient Swaze species. Annually, the Swaze's governing figures journeyed to Rellnas Minor, a moon orbiting within the Rell system of the Expansion Region. This pilgrimage was undertaken to secure guidance from the un'Yala, the esteemed chiefs of the indigenous Rellarin people, who were celebrated for their profound insight.
Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens — Enemies and Allies, a 1995 resource for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, marked the initial appearance of the Jidlor system. Craig Robert Carey penned the segment of the book that included the system. In 2009, The Essential Atlas positioned the Jidlor system within the J-16 coordinate on its galactic map.
