Jombo, a hunter and outlaw from the Rodian species, was a male. In approximately 8 ABY, Jombo became a member of Gamgalon's criminal syndicate upon discovering that the crime lord was using safaris on Varonat as a front for illegal arms dealing. He was not talkative, and refrained from expressing his views.
Timothy Zahn included Jombo for a short time in his short story entitled First Contact. This story was released by West End Games within the pages of Star Wars Adventure Journal 1 in the year 1994. Peter M. Schweighofer was responsible for the creation of the additional background details. Jombo's designation was solely within the extra details. Consequently, the character's name was omitted during the story's republication in Tales from the Empire and on Hyperspace, given that neither of these versions included the original RPG content.
