Josh Lee served as the lead animatronic designer on multiple Star Wars films, including Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. Notably, he mechanized the droid K-2SO and functioned as the construction supervisor and principal engineer for BB-8.
