Juliet Donenfeld is known for her voice acting, particularly as the voice of Lys Solay, a Jedi youngling, in the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures animated series. The announcement of her participation was initially made on StarWars.com on February 9 of 2023.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Juliet Donenfeld auditioned to play Lys Solay. She used her father's closet as a makeshift recording space because of the lockdown. Donenfeld compared her character Solay to General Leia Organa, pointing out that Solay's hairstyle with two space buns was inspired by Organa's, and also Solay's eagerness to assist others. Donenfeld also expressed her belief that Solay's affection for animals would make her relatable to children.
