Tiny, worm-shaped organisms of microscopic size, known as Jumpers, originated in the Bare Forest of Zelos II. These parasitic entities would invade and populate the body of a dead, thinking being, causing the cadaver to move again and creating the illusion that the individual was alive once more.
A hypothesis suggested that these organisms released enzymes that provided electrical stimulation to the brain, enabling this reanimation.
The Zelosian inhabitants developed zombie-related folklore and beliefs due to beings revived in this manner, leading to superstitions about zombies.
