June Brigman, an American comic book artist, graphic novelist, and illustrator, was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 26, 1960. She is the artist who illustrated the Star Wars: River of Chaos comic mini-series. Brigman is most recognized for co-creating Power Pack, the pre-teen superhero characters, alongside writer Louise Simonson back in 1984.
Since 2016, she has served as the artist for the syndicated newspaper strip Mary Worth. Prior to that, she provided the artwork for Brenda Starr, Reporter from 1995 until its ending in 2011. Furthermore, she has worked as an instructor at The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, located in Dover, New Jersey, since 2005.
