The Jurzan spaceport housed Bossk's preferred cantina, a location of significance for the bounty hunter at this spaceport. In 3 ABY, a violent exchange of blaster fire erupted involving Bossk, along with Han Solo and [Chewbacca], both smugglers; this conflict led to the obliteration of the cantina and the Bitemark, the recently acquired starship of the Trandoshan. Although Bossk came close to apprehending Solo and Chewbacca in an attempt to collect the bounty placed on them, the pair managed to evade capture.
The short story "Tooth and Claw," penned by Michael Kogge and included in the From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back anthology from 2020, featured the Jurzan spaceport. Within the realm of Star Wars Legends continuity, the article "The Business of Bacta," also by Kogge, introduced a planet called Jurzan in 1994 within Star Wars Adventure Journal 3.
