Michael Kogge

Beyond his work on Star Wars Insider, Michael Kogge's writing credits include material for Topps, West End Games, Fantasy Flight Games, the Star Wars Adventure Journal, Wizards of the Coast, and Star Wars Gamer.

In 2009, he wrote the script for the four-part web series The Despotica for Hyperspace's "Xim Week." The fifth installment, "The Gleam of Kiirium," a poem he created for The Essential Guide to Warfare, was released on The Official Star Wars Blog in 2013.

Kogge originated the planet Thyferra and the backstory for bacta in "The Business of Bacta."

His original comic book series, Empire of the Wolf, published by Alterna Comics, is a Roman epic that shares many of the same classic mythic themes found in Star Wars. He has also contributed writing to Blizzard's StarCraft universe and stories situated on Edgar Rice Burroughs's Barsoom/Mars.
