The Kadri'Ra were a sizable sentient species thought to have a connection with the Duinuogwuin. Their adopted homeworld was the planet called Arapia.
Similar to the Duinuogwuin, the Kadri'Ra possessed extended lifespans, typically living for 1,000 to 1,500 years. They shared the Duinuogwuin's capability to endure the vacuum of space, but the Kadri'Ra could only survive in space for a few days, whereas the Duinuogwuin were rumored to exist in vacuum for months at a time. Furthermore, the Kadri'Ra lacked some of the Duinuogwuins' more unique skills, such as inherent repulsorlift flight and biological cold fusion.
Throughout their lives, Kadri'Ra experienced continuous growth, ultimately reaching lengths of up to two hundred meters. A robust exoskeleton provided them protection, expanding with each growth cycle. Older, and consequently larger, Kadri'Ra could pose a risk to themselves and others, frequently retreating to deep caverns or asteroid caves, where their exoskeletons adapted to their surroundings.
The Kadri'Ra were naturally inclined towards wisdom and philosophical thought. Paradoxically, or perhaps consequently, the Galactic Empire classified them as a non-sentient slave species. Their considerable strength and ability to withstand vacuum conditions made them attractive targets for slavers, who exploited them as heavy laborers in construction endeavors and space docks. This enslavement led to a drastic reduction in the Kadri'Ra population on Arapia, plummeting from an estimated 140 million during the Galactic Republic era to a mere 14,000 by 0 BBY. The Force-sensitives among the Kadri'Ra also faced hardship, compelled to conceal their abilities or face death.
During the Galactic Civil War, Saadoon-Kauldi, a crime lord and Rebel supporter operating from Neftali in the Socorro system, stood out as a prominent Kadri'Ra figure in the galaxy's.
