Kai toks were predatory fliers originating from the planet Rori.
Information regarding this reptilian creature was scarce. Imperial scientists advised spacers to maintain distance from them, unless they were affiliated with the Rebel Alliance, pending further investigation.
These creatures possessed the ability to be tamed and kept as personal companions. Classified within the Reptavian lineage, they could undergo mutation, transforming into horned raptors. In contrast to typical kai toks, horned raptors were flightless and exhibited a markedly distinct physical form.
The kai toks were featured in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.
