Kaikielius campaign

The Kaikielius campaign, a conflict within the larger Clone Wars, formed a segment of Operation Durge's Lance and was commanded by the Separatist General Grievous.

During this engagement, an unusual clone trooper experienced a bout of paranoid psychosis while conducting reconnaissance: he murdered his entire squad and was eventually found calmly seated on a rocky projection, encircled by their corpses. Following questioning by Republic Intelligence, he maintained that the entire Kaikielius campaign was a simulated drill, asserting that commando droids disguised in clone trooper armor had substituted his comrades. This event led HoloNet reporters to label him "the Mad Clone of Kaikielius".
