Mad Clone of Kaikielius

The so-called Mad Clone of Kaikielius, a name given to him by HoloNet reporters, was a clone trooper who deviated from the norm within the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic. He, like all clone troopers, was produced via cloning from the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett on the planet Kamino. However, in contrast to the majority of clones exhibiting deviations, his condition remained undetected throughout his training and conditioning period at the clone military education complex situated in Tipoca City. When the Clone Wars began, he participated as part of the Republic forces involved in the Kaikielius campaign.

During a reconnaissance operation conducted as part of the campaign, the clone trooper experienced a sudden episode of uncontrolled rage, resulting in the deaths of all other members of his squad. Subsequently, he was discovered sitting calmly on a rocky projection, with the corpses of his squadmates surrounding him. When questioned by Republic Intelligence, the Mad Clone maintained that he was participating in a training exercise and that his squadmates had been substituted with battle droids in disguise. He even commended his interrogators on the authenticity of the "training exercise," stating that he nearly fell for the droids' use of familiar unit identifiers.
