A male Wookiee named Kallaova existed during the Galactic Civil War era. Following the Battle of Yavin at some point, Kallaova found himself on the planet Dathomir, where an accident occurred within the Imperial Research and Prison Facility. He contracted the Blackwing virus, transforming him into an undead being. The virus controlled his undead form, causing him to ceaselessly roam the Quarantine Zone until a spacer ultimately destroyed him.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Kallaova was a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its servers shut down on December 15, 2011. He was introduced to the game via "Game Update 14," which was released on October 12, 2009. Kallaova was one of the Undead boss enemies located in the Quarantine Zone, whom players were required to defeat in order to complete a specific collection.
