Karkas

Karkas, a killer with a deadly t'bac habit, was wanted across two dozen systems. He was responsible for the deaths of over ninety-one victims, each marked with a "K" on their forehead.

Biography

It was at The End of the World, a shady tapcafé on Koda Space Station, that Tash Arranda initially crossed paths with Karkas. He managed to escape from the authorities on Koda, and subsequently sought refuge on Tatooine at the palace of Jabba Desilijic Tiure, an old contact from his days in the underworld. To help Karkas evade the Imperial forces, Jabba proposed that Grimpen, a corrupt B'omarr monk, transplant Karkas's mind into a fresh body. However, Zak Arranda freed the intended host from Jabba's dungeon. While Jabba's henchmen searched for a replacement, Karkas's mind was temporarily placed inside Tash Arranda's body. The murderer was displeased with this situation, derisively describing his new host as "as weak as a nerf cub." Despite his perceived weakness, Karkas managed to locate and assassinate Commander Fuzzel, the Imperial officer leading the local manhunt for him. Zak Arranda soon discovered that his sister's brain had been removed. With the assistance of his uncle, Mammon Hoole, Zak subdued Karkas. The B'omarr monks then returned Tash Arranda's brain to her original body, leaving Karkas trapped inside a BT-16 perimeter droid, forced to roam the corridors of Jabba's palace.
