Kaskutal
title: Kaskutal
Around six centuries prior to the Clone Wars, lived Kaskutal, a male Gotal. He is known as the originator of the Antarian Rangers.
Biography
Kaskutal was born on Antar 4. Despite a minor attunement to the Force, he was rejected for Jedi training in his youth by Master Marus Timpel. Not discouraged, he went back to his home world and developed into a successful entrepreneur, famous for his talent in negotiation. His achievements, partly due to his limited Force abilities and Gotal senses, allowed him to accumulate a large fortune.
Years passed, and Kaskutal once again encountered Master Timpel, who was visiting Antar 4 for a standard assignment. They developed a friendship, and during their conversations, the Gotal realized the challenges the Jedi faced concerning resource management and travel constraints. Inspired, Kaskutal set about creating a system to support the Jedi Order. This marked the beginning of the Antarian Rangers.
Using contributions and investments from Jedi supporters, alongside several clever business transactions, Kaskutal successfully expanded the Rangers across numerous systems, aiding the Jedi without depleting their scarce resources. His modest Force gifts and financial expertise were extremely beneficial to Master Timpel as they collaborated until Timpel's passing.
Following Timpel's death, Kaskutal transitioned to an administrative position to oversee the organization's operations. Utilizing his exceptional business and leadership capabilities, Kaskutal made certain the organization remained financially secure and helped to further its growth. The organization he established thrived for centuries after his death, providing assistance to the Jedi Order throughout the difficult times of the Clone Wars, the rise of the Galactic Empire, and even into the age of the New Republic.
