Kevin Feige, an American movie producer, is most famously known for producing the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film franchise that has earned the most money of all time. Since 2007, he has held the position of President at Marvel Studios.
Being a passionate fan of Star Wars ever since he attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Feige made a decision while developing the second set of Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. He wanted to include a scene in each film where at least one character loses a limb, as a tribute to the 1980 movie, Star Wars_: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.
On September 25, 2019, it was announced that Feige would be collaborating with Kathleen Kennedy, the President of Lucasfilm Ltd., on an as-yet-unnamed Star Wars film. In 2023, he revealed that work on his film had been discontinued.
