The extensive Koban Gorge existed as a large canyon located on the planet of Koba. This valley, brimming with plentiful forested areas, was nestled between two cliff faces and featured a bridge that provided a connection between each side. Over two centuries prior to the beginning of the Clone Wars, the Jedi Master named Polvin Kut met his death on the bridge that overlooked the Koban Gorge; he was slain by Advozse fighters who were assembled under the flag of the warlord Tulak. One hundred years following this event, the indigenous Koban inhabitants rebuilt the bridge, thereby creating a memorial to honor Kut, with his image sculpted into its framework.
