Koba, situated in the Mid Rim within the Cerean Reach, was a planet that suffered greatly at the hands of the Advozse warlord Tulak. However, Jedi Knight Yaddle later shielded it from Kalut, his offspring.
The backstory of Koba is explored in "Yaddle's Tale: The One Below," a Star Wars Tales narrative whose canonicity is uncertain. Although the core narrative has been alluded to in subsequent works, the encompassing narrative contains inconsistencies.
In The Shadow Trap, Koba is referred to as "Koda," and its inhabitants as "Kodans."
