The Kooda system, the birthplace of the Koodans, resided within Herglic Space. This region is situated in the Southern Core, which is itself a segment of the Colonies.
The system of Kooda first appeared in the 2009 publication, The Essential Atlas. This book, penned by Daniel Wallace together with Jason Fry, specified its location as grid square K-13.
