The YT-1300 light freighter known as the Krayt Fang was the personal vessel of Trex, a Trandoshan bounty hunter who worked for Teemo, a crime lord within the Hutt Cartel. This ship, the Krayt Fang, was sitting in Landing Bay Aurek at the Mos Shuuta spaceport on Tatooine, awaiting repairs to its damaged hypermatter reactor igniter. To flee from the Hutt Teemo's Gamorrean thugs and stormtroopers under the command of Lieutenant Herkin, an Imperial officer secretly allied with Teemo, a band of adventurers made off with the ship.
