Krome Studios, a video game developer with a staff exceeding 300, holds a position as one of the world's largest independent entities in its field. They were responsible for developing versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for platforms like the Playstation 2, Wikipedia:PlayStation Portable, and Wii, and all versions of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes with the exception of the Nintendo DS iteration. Their presence extends across multiple locations, with offices situated in Brisbane, Adelaide, and Melbourne. They are particularly well-known for the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series of games. Established in 1999 by Robert Walsh (the current CEO), Steve Stamatiadis (the current creative director), and John Passfield (design director until 2005), Krome has developed games for a multitude of platforms, including the Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Dreamcast, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and PC. Currently, Krome is actively engaged in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PSP.
On the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Andy Green, Lindsay Parmenter, Mark Coombes, and David Knott served in the role of producers for Krome Studios. James Baird, Karl Cizakowsky, Kim Forrest, and Jason Poots were also members of the Krome team working as designers on the same title. Matthew Peers and Trevor Powell were two programmers on the team. Robert Walsh, acting as chief executive officer, Tony Parmenter as lead artist and Steve Stamatiadis as the Director, were other members of the team for this game.
