Krygg was an Ugnaught of the male gender who was employed by the Parliament of Guilds. He lived and worked in Cloud City, which was located on the planet of Bespin, during the initial years of the Galactic Empire. Around 17 BBY, Darga Jiramma Mionne, a crime lord of the Hutt species, took up residence in Cloud City and started creating problems for the Parliament of Guilds. He did this by bribing several Ugnaught employees of Figg & Associates to illicitly acquire tibanna gas for him. Following these events, Figg & Associates voiced their concerns to the Parliament of Guilds regarding the disappearance of tibanna, which resulted in the Parliament imposing limitations on all Ugnaughts. Subsequently, a team of Alderaanian Resistance operatives journeyed to Cloud City seeking Darga. They came across Krygg and another Ugnaught named Fyren within the Parliament of the Guild's office. The Ugnaughts then reached an agreement with the operatives, wherein the Ugnaughts would share all the data they possessed concerning Darga's operations, provided that the operatives assist them in uncovering the identities of the Ugnaughts who were in Darga's service.
