Division arose within the council: certain individuals desired to align with the Rebels, while others dreaded the potential consequences at the hands of the Galactic Empire. Ultimately, no resolution was reached because a council member turned against the Rebels, revealing their presence to the Empire. Subsequently, a Star Destroyer arrived and covertly deployed stormtroopers via cargo vessels. CSL Danenberger, a young man, alerted the diplomats to the danger, prompting their immediate departure from the planet.
