Lahara sector Imperial governor

This individual held the position of Imperial sector governor for the Lahara sector during the early years of the Galactic Civil War, specifically in the time leading up to the Battle of Yavin. This Imperial sector governor provided upfront payment to a team of bounty hunters, which included the Trandoshan Bossk, to capture a group of escaped Wookiee slaves. These slaves included Chewbacca, who were in the process of establishing a secure settlement on the moon called Gandolo IV. Ultimately, Bossk and his team were unsuccessful in their attempt to apprehend the fleeing Wookiees.

Behind the scenes

In every instance where this character is mentioned, they are only referred to in a vague manner, as the Imperial governor governing the sector containing Gandolo IV. The 2009 publication of The Essential Atlas explicitly states that Gandolo IV is within the Lahara sector. Consequently, this article makes the assertion that this character is indeed the Imperial governor overseeing the Lahara sector.

The 1998 PC game Star Wars: Rebellion originally placed Gandolo IV within the Moddell sector. However, this placement has since been superseded by the information presented in The Essential Atlas and related content found on StarWars.com. Therefore, it's crucial not to mistakenly identify this character as the Imperial governor of the Moddell sector.
