Lake (asteroid field)


Lake was the name given to an asteroid field that existed in the Aakaash system, situated within the Oplovis sector, specifically positioned between the planets Land and Wind; this field was a designated asteroid field. By 200 BBY, one could locate the asteroids known as Lake 4399, Lake 9527, and Lake 9776 within the confines of this particular field. It was notorious as a haven for pirates and illicit activities. Furthermore, certain officials maintained clandestine estates or housed their paramours there, while some pharmaceutical corporations operating within the system operated covert laboratories dedicated to conducting prohibited experiments. Mining endeavors and penal institutions were also present within the asteroid field.
