LB-series bulk-loading droid

The T1-series bulk-loading droid, which would later be referred to as the LB-series, represented a model of bulk-loading droid that saw usage during the era of the Mandalorian Wars, despite its original creation predating the Sith War by a significant margin. The designation "LB" is an abbreviation, standing for "loader, bulk". T1-LB, an LB-series bulk-loading droid. The "T1"-series of droids, including these models, were originally produced by Kellenech Technologies. However, following the company's subsequent downfall and the resulting sale of its assets, Duwani Mechanical Products acquired the T1-series trademark. This new owner then proceeded to manufacture an entirely different line of droids under the same designation. Consequently, to avoid confusion with this newer model, the original T1-series became widely recognized as the "LB"-series.

These LB-series droids were classified as fifth-degree droids. While incapable of vocalizing speech, they possessed the ability to comprehend spoken language. A notable characteristic of this particular model was its method of navigation, which involved recording its visual surroundings into holographic memory.

An example of an LB-series droid would be T1-LB. Conversely, T1-N1 represents one of the later droid models produced by Duwani Mechanical Products under the acquired trademark.

Behind the scenes

Initially, the comic refers to the droid as the T1-series, but later it is called the LB-series.
