Publisher's summary

Han and Leia are embroiled in conflict alongside the Corellian rebels, facing their own son, Jacen, whose power and danger escalate daily. Jacen is unyielding in his pursuit of peace through a triumphant Galactic Alliance victory—regardless of the sacrifices required.

Meanwhile, Luke mourns his wife's passing and grapples with guilt over a mistaken act of vengeance. Jaina, Jag, and Zekk are in pursuit of the true assassin, unaware that this individual wields Sith abilities capable of manipulating their minds, diverting their attacks, and even turning them against each other.

As Luke and Ben Skywalker navigate the surrounding turmoil, Jacen, isolated from his loved ones, initiates an invasion to save his sole remaining ally. As the conflict intensifies and galactic unrest grows, Jacen becomes the most sought-after individual, whether alive or dead.
