The legend keeper was an occupation held by a member of the Ewok group residing in Bright Tree Village located on the Forest Moon of Endor. Before the time of the Battle of Endor, Arbo functioned as the legend keeper for the village.
Joe Johnston's book, The Adventures of Teebo: A Tale of Magic and Suspense, released in 1984 by Random House, identifies Arbo as the legend keeper of his village; this designation is also present in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which was published in 2008.
