Arbo was an Ewok inhabiting Bright Tree Village situated on the Forest Moon of Endor, serving as the community's legend keeper. Upon the discovery of the wokling Malani's abduction, Arbo proposed that the Ewoks seek guidance from their shaman, Logray, before proceeding with any course of action.

Arbo belonged to the Ewok population of the Bright Tree Village tribe residing on the Forest Moon of Endor. As the legend keeper for Bright Tree Village, Arbo held a position of wisdom within the tribe. On one occasion, a group of Duloks trespassed into Happy Grove, the surrounding territory of Arbo's village. These intruders, led by King Vulgarr, alleged that a giant creature had taken Malani, a young wokling from the village. Vulgarr earnestly requested that the Ewoks dispatch as many warriors as possible to confront the beast and retrieve the child. However, Arbo advocated for a more measured approach, suggesting that they first consult with their shaman, Logray.
Despite this, Chief Chirpa, the leader of Bright Tree's Ewoks, instructed the tribe's warriors to pursue the creature. As soon as the shaman arrived, Arbo promptly recounted the events. Nevertheless, Chirpa's decision to leave the women and elders to protect the village and its woklings left the village susceptible, enabling Vulgarr and his group to exploit the weakened defenses by abducting the remaining children. The Arbo Maze, a cave situated on Endor, shared Arbo's name.
Arbo's debut occurred in The Adventures of Teebo: A Tale of Magic and Suspense, a children's book authored by Joe Johnston and released in 1984.
