Lemmet Tauk, a trainee at the Imperial Royal Guard Academy situated on Yinchorr, maintained a strong bond with Kir Kanos.
As was the standard for all aspiring Guardsmen, Lemmet Tauk had already distinguished himself as one of the Empire's most skilled warriors before his reassignment to the Imperial Guard Academy. He stood out among his peers and became closely aligned with Kir Kanos during the years they spent undergoing the demanding survival training program, which resulted in the deaths of numerous other students. Throughout this experience, their friendship deepened considerably.
Nevertheless, in their ultimate trial, Palpatine commanded Tauk and Kanos to engage in a fatal duel. Kanos fatally impaled Tauk with his weapon, ending his friend's life. Addressing Tauk's lifeless body, Kanos expressed, "I'm sorry," only to receive a rebuke from Darth Vader. Vader scarred Kanos's face with his lightsaber, sternly reminding him that questioning or commenting on the Emperor's desires was forbidden.
Hasbro introduced a multipack with action figures that was inspired by the final examination that the Guardsmen hopefuls were forced to endure. Lemmet was a part of this set, and he was given a helmet that could be taken off, revealing his face to the public for the first time. He is depicted with black hair and a beard.
