Leshy Drobo, active circa 20,000 BBY, operated as a bounty hunter. He masked his true profession by posing as a freight hauler, and on occasion, collaborated with a fellow hunter named Gammid. His most significant accomplishment was the capture of Jedi Knight Roni von Wasaki, though Drobo met his end before he could claim his reward.
Leshy Drobo functioned as a bounty hunter. The Starkiller, his ship, served as a freight-hauling facade for his illegal activities. Among the numerous individuals who sought to apprehend Jedi Knight Roni von Wasaki, he, along with his associate Gammid and the droid XT-8, were the only ones to achieve success. He and Gammid created a diversion for Wasaki, a maneuver that led to Gammid's demise, while XT-8 stealthily approached Wasaki from behind and stunned him. This affirmed Drobo's belief that Jedi mind tricks were ineffective against droids. Subsequently, Drobo and XT-8 encased Wasaki in carbonite and loaded him onto the Starkiller for transport, aiming to collect the 100,000 credit bounty.
During the voyage, however, Wasaki employed his mental abilities to persuade Drobo to release him from the carbonite. XT-8 discovered this betrayal and confronted Drobo in the engine room, resulting in Drobo's immediate death, but also causing damage to the hyperdrive engines. Drobo's remains remained undisturbed for over 20,000 years as XT-8 attempted to reach the crime boss who had offered the reward using the remaining sublight drives. A group of Rebels later boarded the ship and discovered his corpse. Upon touching it, the body disintegrated, revealing Drobo's hold-out blaster.
