Lesleh Donaldson, a Canadian actress born on April 7, 1964, has built a career encompassing both stage and screen. While she has acted in various films, she is most notably recognized for her performances in several horror films, such as Funeral Home (1980), Happy Birthday to Me (1981), Curtains (1983), and Deadly Eyes (1982).
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Donaldson began her artistic pursuits early. As a young girl, she studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada. She also gained early exposure through television commercials for Ford automobiles. During the latter part of the 1970s, she took part in several made-for-TV films, including On My Own, a story about a teenager living with epilepsy. Her debut in theatrical films came with Running (1979), which starred Michael Douglas. Subsequently, she took on leading roles in a number of horror movies released in theaters, including Funeral Home (also known as Cries in the Night) (1980), directed by William Fruet, Happy Birthday to Me (1981), directed by J. Lee Thompson, Deadly Eyes (1982), and Curtains (1983). She also made an appearance in an episode of the television horror anthology Friday the 13th: The Series. Donaldson also lent her voice to the character of Kea Moll in the animated television show Star Wars Droids.
