Leyli Romero was a Kilotowan woman belonging to a band of criminals headed by Elecia Zeveron. She previously belonged to the Romero Clan and masqueraded as a student at Reena University. While at the university, she pretended to be in a relationship with Axel Greylark, another student. Around 396 BBY, during the Queen's Bloom Festival, Romero exploited Greylark's feelings for her to manipulate him into assisting Zeveron's group in pilfering valuables from guests at a party hosted by the House of Reena, which took place in Gorag Tower on the world of Reena. Greylark felt betrayed when he discovered she had taken advantage of his affection. Despite this, she inquired with her leader, Elecia Zeveron, about the necessity of causing him pain. Subsequently, she and Greylark acrimoniously separated as she left with Zeveron and the rest of the crew.
